Do I need an appointment?

Visits are always by appointment, so there is enough time for examination and discussion.

What is the doctor’s specialty?

Dr Maria Polykarpou is a Dermatologist – Venereologist. The clinic covers clinical dermatology (skin, hair, nail and sexually transmitted conditions) and aesthetic dermatology (laser, injectables, facial treatments, eyebrow transplantation).

Which languages do you serve?

The website and patient information are available in Greek, English, Hebrew, German, Italian, Spanish and Arabic. For the language of your visit, please contact us in advance.

What does the first visit include?

History taking, clinical examination and, where needed, dermoscopy or laboratory tests. A discussion and an individual plan follow. No aesthetic treatment is proposed before medical assessment.

Do you perform mole checks?

Yes, with dermoscopy and photographic documentation for follow-up over time. An annual check is recommended for most adults.

Can I have a treatment on the same day as the examination?

In many cases yes, provided the examination reveals nothing that prevents it. Some treatments require preparation or avoiding sun exposure beforehand.

Are the treatments painful?

Most are well tolerated. Where needed, anaesthetic cream, local anaesthesia or cooling is used. The discomfort and recovery of each treatment are described on its own page.

Is there parking nearby?

The Aristotelous area is served by public transport and private car parks in the city centre. Ask us when scheduling your appointment.

The right treatment begins with the right diagnosis.

Your first visit includes a dermatological examination, a discussion of your goals and a personalised plan, with no obligation to proceed with treatment.
