What it is

Medical microneedling creates controlled micro-injuries in the skin with very fine needles. The natural healing response activates the production of collagen and elastin.

It is indicated for acne scars, enlarged pores, uneven texture and fine lines — and can be combined with PRP, i-PRF or hydrating products for an enhanced effect.

Depth and density are adjusted per area and indication, always after assessing the skin type and phototype.

Technology / material: A medical microneedling device (Dermapen) with sterile single-use cartridges and adjustable penetration depth.

Frequently asked questions

How is it different from fractional laser?

Microneedling acts mechanically with less downtime; the fractional laser acts thermally and is stronger for deeper scars. The choice depends on the indication and phototype.

How many sessions?

Usually 3–4, every 3–4 weeks, with assessment at the end of the course.

Is it safe for darker skin?

Generally yes — with appropriate parameters it carries a lower risk of pigment change in darker phototypes than lasers.

Can it be combined with PRP?

Yes, in the same session. The combination is often used for scars and skin quality.

When can I go out?

The same day. The skin is red for 24–48 hours, so plan accordingly.

Indications, the number of sessions and the protocol are determined individually, after medical assessment. Results vary from person to person.
