What it is

Diamond-tip dermabrasion is mechanical exfoliation: a diamond-coated tip removes dead epidermal cells in a controlled way, with simultaneous vacuum.

The skin becomes smoother and brighter, pores are cleansed and skincare products are absorbed better.

It is a gentle treatment with no downtime, also used as preparation before peels or other treatments.

Technology / material: A mechanical exfoliation system with diamond tips of different grades and adjustable vacuum.

Frequently asked questions

How is it different from hydrodermabrasion?

Diamond dermabrasion is purely mechanical exfoliation, while hydrodermabrasion combines exfoliation with the simultaneous delivery of solutions and hydration.

Does it hurt?

No. You feel a light sanding and suction sensation.

How often?

Usually every 3–4 weeks, depending on skin type.

Does it help acne scars?

It can help slightly with very superficial texture irregularities. For scars, microneedling or fractional laser are indicated.

Can I wear make-up afterwards?

Yes, the same day, once the mild redness has settled.

Indications, the number of sessions and the protocol are determined individually, after medical assessment. Results vary from person to person.
